South Carolina defeated No. 11 Tennessee 27 to 24 on October 24 after kicker Malik Orsan converted a 48-yard field goal as time expired, Yahoo Sports Top, Yahoo College Football, and Sports Illustrated reported. Fans subsequently stormed the field at Williams-Bryce Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina. [1][3][4][8][13]

The Gamecocks secured the win after defensive lineman Dylan Stewart forced a fumble in the final minute, Yahoo College Football reported. Quarterback LaNorris Sellers also scored a touchdown for South Carolina during the contest. [3]

Tennessee had three touchdown passes negated by penalties during the game, according to Yahoo College Football and the Knoxville News Sentinel. South Carolina also lost defensive back Vicari Swain, who was ejected for targeting and missed the entire second half, Yahoo College Football reported. [4][6][11]

As FTMQ Sports reported earlier, South Carolina edge rusher Dylan Stewart had returned to the team in October following a one-game SEC suspension. The victory over Tennessee extends South Carolina's home winning streak against the Volunteers, according to Yahoo College Football. [3][4][18]
