Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka suffered a quadriceps injury and was substituted early in Wednesday's 2-2 Champions League draw against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. The 25-year-old went down in pain in the 10th minute while attempting a pass. The Associated Press reported that he was holding his left leg before being replaced by Eberechi Eze, who scored the opening goal. [1][2][3][4][5][6][7]

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta stated after the match that the medical staff is concerned about the injury, saying it does not look good at all. Arteta told TNT Sports that a player coming off with a sharp pain is never good news, but added that the club must wait and see for further evaluation. [1][2][3][5][12]

As FTMQ Sports reported earlier, Saka previously scored four goals in nine games for Arsenal this season after managing fitness issues in recent months. Saka had recently returned to action, including scoring and assisting off the bench in a 3-0 Champions League win over Lille. [1][16]

Yahoo Sports reported that Saka is now a major doubt for Arsenal's next domestic match against Everton this coming weekend. [2][3]
