Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Travon Walker and running back Bhayshul Tuten are active for their Thursday Night Football game against the Baltimore Ravens. Yahoo College Football, ProFootballTalk, NBC Sports, and the Jacksonville Jaguars team site all reported that both players were cleared to play in the Week 9 matchup. Walker and Tuten had been listed as questionable on the final injury report before being made active. [1][2][3][4][8][9]
ProFootballTalk reported that Walker is dealing with a rib injury but has played in every game this season, logging 330 defensive snaps. On the season, Walker has three sacks, seven quarterback hits, one pass defensed, and 18 tackles. The Florida Times-Union noted that Tuten suffered ankle and foot injuries that kept him out of practice for the entire week leading up to the game. [2][4]
Tuten carried a questionable status into Thursday after head coach Liam Coen designated him a game-time decision, according to the Florida Times-Union. ProFootballTalk noted that Tuten has recorded 125 touches for 673 yards and six touchdowns across 241 snaps in seven games this season. Yahoo Sports Top added that the Jaguars announced four other players were inactive for the game. [2][3][4]
Walker was selected first overall by the Jaguars in the 2022 NFL draft after winning a college national championship with Georgia. Tuten was drafted by Jacksonville in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL draft after playing college football at North Carolina A&T and Virginia Tech. [14][15]
The game comes as the Baltimore Ravens face severe depth issues at quarterback. As FTMQ Sports reported earlier, Ravens starter Lamar Jackson went to injured reserve due to a thumb injury requiring surgery, backup Tyler Huntley suffered a toe injury, and third-string quarterback Joe Fagnano was questionable after taking a hit in a 36-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
