The NFL has ruled that defensive tackle Zxavian Harris is eligible to visit, try out for, or sign with any team as a free agent, according to Yahoo NFL and ProFootballTalk. [2][3]
ProFootballTalk reported that the league sent a memo to teams on Monday declaring the change in status. Harris had been ruled ineligible in September after he attempted to join the football program at Louisiana State University following his release from the NFL. [1][3]

Harris played four years of college football at Ole Miss before going undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft, Yahoo Sports Top reported. He signed with the New Orleans Saints for the offseason but was cut by the team in August before attempting to join former Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin at LSU. [1]
