The National Football League has fined Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson and running back Quinshon Judkins $14,397 each for an impermissible touchdown celebration, ProFootballTalk and Yahoo NFL reported. The discipline was issued ahead of the team's Week 5 game against the New York Jets, following a celebratory gesture during Cleveland's recent victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. ProFootballTalk noted that three Browns players in total received financial penalties from the league. [1][2][4][8][9]

The fines were levied after Judkins scored a second-quarter touchdown against the Steelers. According to ProFootballTalk, the celebration featured players passing an imaginary marijuana cigarette. Yahoo NFL and ProFootballTalk both report that Watson and Judkins participated in the gesture alongside other Cleveland players. [1][2]
