The California Golden Bears earned a 25-20 comeback victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies after scoring a late touchdown on Saturday.

The California Golden Bears defeated the Virginia Tech Hokies 25-20 on Saturday afternoon. Yahoo NFL and Yahoo Sports Top both reported that Cal earned the victory with a late comeback after trailing for nearly the entire contest. The game was played in Berkeley, California. [1][2][3]

According to Yahoo Sports Top, reserve running back Ashten Emory scored two touchdowns for California. His two-yard touchdown run with 18 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter capped a six-play, 75-yard drive to secure the win. [2]

With the victory, California moved to a 3-3 overall record and a 2-1 mark in Atlantic Coast Conference play, Yahoo Sports Top reported. Yahoo College Football noted before the game that Virginia Tech was seeking to reach a 5-1 record for the first time since 2017 following a previous defeat to Pittsburgh. [2][3][4]
