Former NFL player Aqib Talib responded strongly to television analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick after Fitzpatrick criticized Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, according to Yahoo Sports and Pro Football Network. Fitzpatrick argued that Nix was not playing competitive football following Denver's recent game against the Seattle Seahawks. [1][2][3][7]

The criticism came after the Denver Broncos defeated the Seattle Seahawks 17-14 in overtime during Thursday Night Football in Week 6, Yahoo Sports reported. The victory improved Denver's record to 4-2 on the season, keeping them tied for the lead in the AFC West alongside the Kansas City Chiefs. [2][3][4]

Talib targeted Fitzpatrick's playoff record and broadcasting performance, according to Yahoo Sports and Pro Football Network. Fitzpatrick spent 17 seasons in the NFL, starting at quarterback for nine different teams, and currently works as an analyst for Thursday Night Football on Prime Video. [2][7][9]

Talib won Super Bowl 50 as a cornerback with the Denver Broncos and previously served as an NFL broadcast analyst. The Broncos will next face the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. [2][8][10]
