The Tampa Bay Buccaneers returned to practice on Wednesday to begin preparations for their Week 7 division game against the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium. Yahoo NFL and Yahoo Sports Top both reported that five players did not participate in the initial session, including wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, who is dealing with a concussion and a foot injury. Quarterback Baker Mayfield returned to practice as a full participant on Wednesday, Yahoo Sports Top reported. The practice session also saw offensive tackle Luke Goedeke miss time due to a calf injury and linebacker Christian Rozeboom sidelined, Yahoo NFL reported. On the opposing side, Carolina Panthers linebacker Jaelan Phillips will miss the Week 7 matchup because of a hamstring injury, according to ABC11 News. [1][12]

Tampa Bay enters the game with a 1-5 record following an overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Yahoo Sports Top reported. In that contest, the Buccaneers held a 16-3 lead in the fourth quarter before falling in extra time. The team now places between No. 25 and No. 29 in five major league power rankings. [2]
