The in-state college football game between South Dakota and South Dakota State will kick off at 3 p.m. on Oct. 31 in Brookings, Yahoo Sports Top and the Mitchell Daily Republic reported. The Halloween game will air nationally on ESPNU. [1][2]

According to Yahoo Sports Top, the matchup was chosen before the season began as part of the Missouri Valley Football Conference contract to broadcast games on linear ESPN networks. This marks the third consecutive season that the rivalry game has been selected for this broadcast package. [1]
