Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson returned to full participation in practice on Thursday, ProFootballTalk and Yahoo NFL reported. ProFootballTalk noted that the team was coming off its bye week, which gave the player extra time to heal. Yahoo Sports had earlier reported that Jefferson was limited in practice on Wednesday. [1][2][7]

Every other player on the Minnesota roster logged full participation in Thursday's session, according to ProFootballTalk. Offensive tackle Brian O'Neill, who has a knee injury, and cornerback James Pierre, who has a foot injury, both practiced fully after being limited on Wednesday. Wide receiver Jordan Addison also participated fully while dealing with a hamstring injury. [1]

Jefferson played college football for the LSU Tigers and won the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship. The Minnesota Vikings selected him in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. [10]

According to CBS NFL, Minnesota holds a 5-0 record this season and has won 10 consecutive games dating back to last year. CBS NFL reported that the team scored nine touchdowns through its first five games, which is the fewest for a 5-0 team since 2003, and registered 21 touchdowns over the 10-game winning streak. [3]
