The Women's National Basketball Association announced on Monday, October 26, that Game 6 of the 2026 WNBA Finals will take place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Thursday, October 29. The game is scheduled for an early start time of 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time, as reported by CBS Sports, Yahoo Sports, ESPN, and the WNBA. [1][4][8][12]

The scheduling adjustment was made because of a venue conflict at State Farm Arena. Yahoo Sports reported that the NBA's Atlanta Hawks were already scheduled to play the Cleveland Cavaliers at the arena on the same evening. [2][4]

The Golden State Valkyries evened the championship series at 2-2 on Sunday, October 25, by defeating the Atlanta Dream 67-62 in Game 4. CBS Sports noted that the Valkyries secured the five-point victory through strong defensive play, while Dream star Angel Reese had a difficult performance. [1][2]

The series moves to San Francisco for Game 5 on Monday, October 26, before returning to Atlanta for Game 6. Both franchises are competing to win their first title in team history, CBS Sports reported. [1][3][7]
