Manchester City drew 1-1 against Paris Saint-Germain on October 29, continuing their wait for a victory in this season's Women's Champions League. BBC Sport and Sky Sports News both reported that the late result left Manchester City winless in the group stage. [1][2]

According to Sky Sports News, Manchester City appeared set to secure the win when Khadija Shaw opened the scoring in the 85th minute. The Jamaica striker converted a late penalty to score her 10th goal of the season, shortly after placing third in the Ballon d'Or voting. [2]

Paris Saint-Germain equalized shortly after the opening goal. Sky Sports News and AOL.co.uk both reported that Tara Elimbi Gilbert scored a late strike to secure a point for the French club at the Joie Stadium. [2][11]

The club was founded in 1880 as St. Mark's before becoming Manchester City in 1894, and plays its home matches at the City of Manchester Stadium. [13]
