Wu Yize secured his first ranking title since becoming world champion by defeating Yuan Sijun 10-5 in an all-Chinese final at the Shenzhen Open, BBC Sport reported. [1]

According to BBC Sport, the victory marks the third ranking title of the 22-year-old player's career. The result elevates Wu to a career-high world ranking of second, placing him directly behind Zhao Xintong. [1]
